Snowwww!!!!!! It was freakin snowing this morning! I was hydroplaning all over the place this morning. Winter is here. I grab my cat Sebastian and we cuddled in a blanket to get warm when I got back from running around downtown.

Remember those doodles I was writing about that I was too lazy to post? Tada! Houdini and Nips are down at the bottom. I made a girl character named OSHA from my OSHA seminar. Her nick name is because she's a health hazard at the work place and can never keep a job. She also has a thing for dragon boy but will never admit it. I don't know why I didn't put her in here. Oh, well. Next time. I only have little notes next to the characters for the description of the characters and what they are doing when the ideas come to me. Ya see, I seem to have this problem with organized thought. So, its just a cluster of different notes. They make sense to me, but, it just doesn't go anywhere. It's frustrating.


I had an appointment with a councilor this morning about my sleep habits. The guy who listened to me basically said that I hate this town, nothings going right, and I'm depressed. So, to escape from these endeavors, I sleep a lot more than I should. So, another of the many personal flaws that need to be corrected.

The receptionist job is going a lot better. I got my Mac Computer by me. So, I'm getting design and Cartography based things to work on still. Thank God!

My car started to crapped out on my near the mall on division street. The alternator was not working and the car was relying on my batteries juice. So, I had to use hand signals to go to the repair shop. Worse yet, it was during lunch break. But, Mom to the rescue! She drove me back to work. The car has set me back a few hundred dollars that could have went for a much needed new PC.

I went to visit my uncle and he seems to be feeling better.
I drove the family because even though my 80 something grandpa likes to drive, I insisted that I felt like driving.

I had a nice distraction from the week last week. Maria found out that I would be gone on Friday and coaxed me to go to see the new Harry Potter with her. We had so much fun and some good laughs. Good times.

Still bummed that I missed my comic time this month with my friends.

Just got a friends request from Don Hertzfeld on my space. I wet myself.

Work is work right now. I kept dozing off at my desk yesterday while working on map research. I got 9 hrs of sleep the night before. Figure that one out! I seriously thought something was wrong with me. It was kind of scary.
I've been attempting to do pottery at the paramount. I'm not good at it. I'm more a sculpture than a potter. I realized this when a put a grumpy guys face on a crappy mug I made. I'll show it when it's done.
The latest music I've been obsessing over is "My Chemical Romance". (INSERT ROLLING EYES HERE)It sounds like punk, pop and Queen said 'hey! Lets rock!'

Serious question: What do you guys do to stop food cravings?
I think location has a lot to do with weight gain. Because since I moved back home, I'm back into my old habits.

Okay. So, cleaning your living space always help you to find things. Found my phone. HA!
My boss gave me a ticket to the ADDY awards. The Addy's are like a SIGGRAPH for graphic designers. It was interesting the first half an hour when I went around and saw all the Ads that were submitted for the contest. The rest of the time it ran pretty slow. I got a two course dinner and watched a jazz band play. But, the awards were really long.
I found out that my boss's mother was my 11th grade english teacher. Small world. My 2nd cousin was at the awards. I had no idea he was going to be there. He won a student award! Hurray!
My boss had invited me out for a drink. I wish I could've went with him, but, since it was so bad outside my parents insisted to drive me to and from the event.
It was an interesting time.

The internship went well and I have a great mentor! My sleeping scheduled is so screwed up. I am so tired. fortunately I was able to stay alert while working.
I've caught the gamer bug. I've been playing with my xbox games a lot. I've been play Star Wars Battlefront 11 and The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge. I had a friendly arguement about video games with my dad. He called me a nerd. I said "if an alien space craft were to crash near us and we were the only ones around it guess who could fly it? Me! I am The Last Starfighter Bitch!"
Yep, I'm a nerd.
Gah, I'm tired. I'm going to bed.

For years my parents have been raving about this "Star Wars Holiday Special" that George Lucas came out with in 1978. They were raving about how wounderful it was. So, since I had time to kill, I found a crappy VHS recording of it on youtube. It was funny. But, most of it was painful to watch. Now I can say "yes, I saw it and  it was bad."  It's really strange to see two people in wookie costumes trying to kiss eachother.
